Başak Kekilli (b. 1974, Adana, Turkey) began painting in 2018 and is a member of the Adana Painters Association. She has participated in group exhibitions in various galleries, including the Adana Contemporary Art Fair. Her work focuses on making the real visible rather than pursuing beauty, drawing quietly from books, nature, and music. Female figures in her paintings exist without concealment or justification; the body is not a subject but a state of being.
