She graduated from the Painting Department of the Faculty of Education at Çukurova University. In the same year, she founded Nermin Levent Art House in Adana. She continued her studies and research in plastic arts together with her students in her own art house. She worked as an art teacher in private colleges. She participated in 23 solo exhibitions and more than 50 group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Her works are included in the collections of important institutions. In recent years, Nermin Levent has served as the President of the Adana Painters Association. She has taken part as a jury member in art competitions and provided art consultancy for various institutions. She assumed the role of manager and art instructor at NSANAT CENTER.

She currently continues her artistic work with her students in her studio bearing her name.
